Biografia:
Biomedical engineer, she has been involved in co-design, innovation and certification in the world of medical devices since 2001. She participated in the design of several innovative medical devices working both with startups and with large national and international groups. She has to her credit 7 patents and two innovative startups, both pre-incubated at I3P Politecnico di Torino. Use-me-d srl deals with the prevention of human error in medicine, while InsideAI srl deals with AI certification for medical diagnostics. Lecturer for Confindustria Dispositivi Medici and several Italian Universities and Polytechnics. Expert EU Horizon 2020.
Abstract:
Digital health technologies include app, platforms and interactive tools. They are intended to be used by health care professionals, patients and caregivers. Technical safety and clinical effectiveness have deep roots in the Human _ Machine interaction. This seminar will describe some techniques to include user needs in the design of the interface of digital health technologies, with a special focus on patient needs and the concept of digital autonomy.
